MY STORY
I didn't start with a framework. I started with chaos.
My online journey began back in 2005 — before "remote work" was even a phrase people used. I was one of the early freelancers on oDesk (now Upwork), figuring out how to build a career online when most people still didn't believe it was possible.
Over the years I built real skills — digital marketing, project management, automation, client delivery. I worked with clients across industries, moved into corporate Singapore, and somewhere along the way became the person people called when something needed to be built, fixed, or systematized.
But there was a problem I kept running into — mine and my clients'. We had tools. We had tactics. We had effort. What we didn't have was a system that held it all together.
THE TURNING POINT
Then came the moment that changed everything.
My long-term partner client — someone I'd worked with for years — told me he needed to step back. He said something that I still think about:
"You need to build something for yourself."
That sentence lit a fire in me.
I had the tools. I had the investments. I had the skills. But I'd been building for others and never for myself. I had no foundation of my own.
So I stopped. I looked at everything I'd learned — years of marketing, automation, content, systems — and I asked: what actually works? What connects?
THE BIRTH OF THE CONNECT FRAMEWORK
With the help of AI tools like Claude and NotebookLM, I began shaping my scattered experiences into something structured. For the first time, the dots connected.
Out of that process came the CONNECT Framework — not a course I bought or a method I borrowed, but something I built from scratch because nothing else existed that did the whole job:
